Our Optimized Rim Profile
With its 28mm internal width optimized for today’s more technical XC racing, our gída 29 rim supports 1.9" - 2.4” tires at lower pressures without tire squirm for greater traction, control, and comfort.
3mm of asymmetry balances spoke angles for higher overall tension and a stronger, more durable wheel with a standard spoke count, while bead locks keep tires secure under constantly changing loads to prevent burping and blowoffs.
Its robust blended-modulus layup is formed via a high-precision molding process to achieves a clean raw carbon finish free of excess resin, fillers, or post-mold coatings for exceptional strength-to-weight, and heavier or more aggressive riders can add tire inserts for even more ruggedness from a lighter overall system.
